Cross Works Takes Part in the Central Asian University Summit

It was a pleasure to see Cross Works Founder and CEO Hakan Agca take to the stage at the Central Asian University Summit in Tashkent.

Hakan joined a panel session alongside speakers from the World Bank, BIG, Zaha Hadid Architects, Mangen Yvars Architects and other leading organisations. The discussion focused on urban development and planning globally, touching on the opportunities and challenges of shaping future-ready cities and new urban centres.

The summit was a strong reflection of the collaborative and forward-looking environment continuing to grow across Uzbekistan. Alongside the panel session, attendees had the opportunity to hear a keynote presentation by Bjarke Ingels, followed by a thoughtful Q&A session for students and professionals.

Cross Works was proud to present its work in designing the new capital over the past three years. As we continue our role as custodian of the masterplan and open an office in Tashkent, we look forward to working with local talent and contributing to Uzbekistan’s fast-growing urban future.
